How It Works
Sirolimus (rapamycin) is delivered from the drug reservoir of the proprietary mechanical pump via a short catheter connected to the DEC
Drug flows into the DEC that surrounds the porous ePTFE graft and is delivered locally to the blood.

In this video a cross section of Cylerus' patented vessel cuff blue dye, representing Cylerus' test compound, can be seen being pumped along the device catheter filling the cuff drug reservoir (outer blue ring). From the reservoir, test compound seeps to vessel lumen where it first coats the inner wall of the vessel (inner blue ring), and wafts down the inner vessel wall to the target area.
